    Description

    Flat Kanthal A-1 Wire 28 Gauge equivalent, 50 FT spool, 0.02lbs, Wire Size 0.8 x 0.1 mm, Series A-1 Resistance. Max operating temperature 1400°C (2550°F), metling temperature 1500C, Resistance (ohms per ft @ 68 deg F) 5.76ohm/ft. Kanthal A-1 is more resistant to oxidation and has a higher maximum operating temperature and Ohm ratings than Kanthal A or Kanthal D. The primary difference between flat and round wire is that flat ribbon Kanthal has more surface area for a given volume and improves surface area vaping.
