    1/9 PLATE AMBROTYPE - BEAUTIFULLY SHARP GIRL IN BOTTLE CURLS - IN EXCELLENT PLUS THERMOPLASTIC UNION CASE -
    You are considering a wonderfully sharp ninth plate ambrotype of a young lady wearing fine jewelry and her hair set in perfect bottle curls. Her cheeks received a bit of warm toned hand tinting to complete her likeness. The portrait is encased in an excellent condition thermoplastic union case with geometric designs on the exterior and a gorgeous colored velvet plush adjacent to her likeness. Good luck to my winning bidder landing this wonderful 19th Century cased portrait.

    Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this cased image and as part of my description. The ninth plate Ambrotype contains excellent contrast, tonal range and beautiful sharpness. The portrait has warm tone tinting added to the subjects face. The case is in excellent condition with only very minor wear to a few corners and a small nick seen in my last listing photo on the surface of the border. A truly wonderful cased ninth plate for any collection of antique photography. I will carefully ship this item to the winning bidder by way of Priority Mail.
