This Series 1928 0 Federal Reserve Note is from the St. Louis district, which is more difficult to find with an original printing of just over 66,000. This note is a nice Very Fine example with typical wear for the grade.

This type was last printed in 1933 and bears the portrait of President William McKinley.

Woods/Mellon signatures—Friedberg #2200-H.
The 0 denomination dates back to the Civil War when the notes were large size (approx. 7.375 X 3.125 inches). The notes were reduced to their current size and issued in 1928.
An interesting aspect of the Federal Reserve Notes from 1928 is that their redemption wording states, Redeemable in Gold on Demand at the United States Treasury, or in Gold or Lawful Money at any Federal Reserve Bank. No Federal Reserve Note since 1928 has carried this redemption wording.
This particular Federal Reserve Note is from the St. Louis district, which can be difficult to find.
