    Description

The 1952 Helsinki Finland 500 Markkaa coin was the first post-World War II Olympic coin issued for general circulation - not just as a commemorative. The coin itself is 32mm (a bit larger than a U.S. half dollar), weighs 12 grams - 50% silver - plain/non-reeded edge. The front/obverse has the Olympic rings in the center with the inscriptions ‘Olympia’, ‘XV’, ‘1952’ & ‘Helsinki’. The back/reverse has the coin denomination 500 surrounded by a wreath. This particular coin is in good/very good condition - some wear & dings evident from being in circulation for 60 some years but virtually no tarnish. Shipped in soft plastic coin flip.
Will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
Note: I ship via USPS & first class package delivery times are completely unpredictable right now. If you need something in 2-3 days, express mail is the only option that MIGHT get it to you in that time frame.
