Antique Chinese Silver Smiling Bat Repousse Pendant Chain Asian Gothic Necklace

ULTRA RARE LUCKY BAT !!!
- Bat made of silver metal by 19th century Chinese silversmiths
- Bat measures 2 1/4" in length (lower wing tip to lower wing tip)
- Bat measures 7/8" - 1" in width (ear tip to tail end)
- Necklace measures 23 1/2" in length
- Chain features faceted oblong shaped links
- Links measure 1 MM in width and individually soldered closed
- Hook style clasp made of silver plated metal
- Necklace weighs 10 grams (chain and pendant)
- Bat features soldered cartouche stamped with two Chinese characters
- Circa mid to late 1800s
- Bat acid tested by prior owner, accuracy isn't guaranteed
- Bat and chain are non magnetic
- Metal in excellent condition (minor signs of wear, tarnish, and rich patina)
- Closure is non original
- Measurements and weight are approximate
- Allow for minor color variations
- Necklace in smoke free and pet free location
