Antique Emperor Menelik II Silver Coin Medallion Ethiopian Pendant, Ethiopia

This is a rare antique Ethiopian silver 1 Birr coin which images Emperor Menelik II of Ethiopia on the obverse side and on the reverse side is pictured the crowned Conquering Lion Of Judah which was hand made into a medallion pendant long ago in Africa and comes from Ethiopia. This antique pendant measures 1.96 inches long (including the bail) by 1.59 inches wide. Great antique condition with slight surface wear and patina. This piece is a hard to find item and a very desirable collectible which would look great used in jewelry applications or would fit right into any African art collection, coin collection or bead collection.
