This is a antique coin which is a Maria Theresa Thaler silver coin which was hand made into medallion pendant in Africa long ago and comes from Ethiopia. This medallion has some minor wear. This antique pendant measures 1.86 inches long (including the bail) by 1.57 inches wide and is very desirable and would look great used in jewelry applications or would fit right into any African art collection or any coin collection.
