    Description

    For auction is an antique copper and brass Rochester Steam Sterilizer, possibly used in the medical or dental industries. Manufactured by Wilmot Castle Co, Rochester, NY. Patent dates Dec 31 '01, Jan 5 '04, and May 14, '07. The unit consists of a copper and steel base with electrical heating element, sterilizing cabinet with lid, and a steel instrument tray inside the cabinet. Brass faucet, lid opening arms, and knobs. The unit looks complete, no visible breaks or repairs, but is sold in untested condition. Copper surfaces are tarnished, with some minor scratches and dings. The sterilizer has been cleaned, a really nice item for display or to restore the copper and brass finish.
