    Description

    Beautiful Antique Round Scarificator Bloodletting Device By TREMON Bleeder Civil War era device from mid 1800s. The device is in great shape and in working condition. It has two blade settings - one with blades locked in place outside, and the second turns the blades to the other side, locking them in place inside the device. When you push the release button, they shoot back out and to the original place, inside the device, in one swift movement. The metal shows normal wear from use and age. The maker “TREMON” is all I can see on the handle, but it’s possible it may say “Tremone”, but it’s hard to tell. It weights approximately half a pound. Spring action all in great working shape and original blades. Please see photos for best idea of item and condition!
