This is an antique Tuareg made
tribal
talisman
necklace with a protective amulet
pendant which is made from a square base of wood which is covered with etched copper, nickel and brass metal on the front and leather on the back with a brass metal wire bail with two metal loops and which is strung on a necklace of black cotton yarn. The wooden base is no longer visible but was used to create the form of the amulet. This amazing Tuareg pendant measures 7.30 inches long from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant by 3.44 inches wide. This Tuareg tribal handmade protective pendant is very collectible and would be perfect for adding to your African jewelry collection or for personal adornment.
