Please have a look at all of my current listings.  They are part of my 50 plus years of collecting to be listed (as time permits) over the coming weeks and months.  My collection includes Antique items such as Scientific Instruments, Radios, Bottles, Barometers, Surveying Instruments, Prohibition (and Pre-Prohibition) Whiskey, Art, Books, etc.  I have fully packed storage boxes full of wonderful things that need to see the light of day once more.  I simply do not have the room anymore (just ask my wife).  It is really hard to part with my "treasures" but I find comfort knowing that they will be cared for by the new owners.  Let me know if you have any specific needs and I will try to list them.  ENJOY!!!
Very nice example of the Maltese Cross Crookes cathode ray tube.  Fully working as seen in the photos.  The spark coil I am using is a bit weak for this somewhat large tube so it is not as bright as it could be if properly energized but you can get the idea.  I am not sure how old it is but my GUESS is 1930's or 1940's.  The pictures tell the full story here.    The cross itself can fold down and was made that way.   Enables the tube to display the cross shadow or not.  Measures 10.5" long by 8" tall and is 3.25" in diameter at large end.  Great addition to your collection.
