    Concrete Frieze Section, Panel Ornament, 43"W, 1800s New York Mansion Salvage
    This cast stone frieze section was salvaged from the Galloway Mansion and former Moose Lodge in Jamestown, New York, built in the late 1800's.
    Details: 43 1/8" wide concrete frieze section featuring a long and short recessed panel decoration along the face.
    Condition: This piece is in good condition with small chips and a corner crack, as well as discoloration from years of exposure to the elements. The mortar is still present in areas along the edges of the piece.
    History: This frieze was salvaged from the former Moose Lodge in Jamestown, New York. This building, built in the late 1800's, was previously the mansion of John and Sarah Galloway, parents of the fabled "Lady in Glass". In 1932, the property was acquired by the local Moose Lodge Chapter which incorporated multiple additions to the grand structure. This building, and items from it, are featured on Season 11, Episode 2, of the Diy Network show, "Salvage Dawgs".
