Description

Listed here is a USED Johnson Evinrude BRP OMC Stator Assembly.  This is a Genuine OEM Johnson / Evinrude / OMC / BRP part NOT a cheap Chinese aftermarket replacement.  Has some surface staining/wear/pitting in various areas from normal operation.  Part is fully functional.  The direct part number for this stator is 0583340 or 583340 and that number is stamped into the part itself.  It lists for 0.49 new from the dealer.  This is the 6 amp version usually used on engines without power trim and tilt for some reason although the engine it was on had trim and tilt.  The part number 0583536 or 583536 is the 3/9 amp version for engines with trim and tilt.  Other part numbers may be compatible since OMC went out of bankrupt in 1999 and BRP bought them and manufactured different variations of the same parts with different numbers.  This is the part that mounts under the flywheel and generates spark for the engine as well as charges the battery.  They were generally used on 90 degree two stroke V4 engines from the 1980s into the 2000s on some models.  This one came from a 1992 year 90 degree 115 horse power V4 two stroke engine that was used on a freshwater Orlando chain of lakes its entire life and has never seen salt water.  The stator you see listed is the stator you will receive with nothing extra.  If you have any questions or need help with compatibility please feel free to contact me and I will help you to the best of my abilities.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve MMSLLC :)
