The sticker on the interior of the bow reads: Made in the People's Republic of China

the diameter around the widest part of the bowl is 49 inches
The bowl does have a chip on one part. The chip is small but it is big enough to slightly see through. There is also a hairline crack running through the chip. The crack can be noticed a small amount on the exterior and is a little more noticeable on the interior. The interior crack extends about 12 inch and about 8 inches on the exterior. SEE PICTURES 5, 11, 12. There is some dirt on the inside of the bowl that should clean up nicely.
