I read that around # 288 Martin ran out of Brazilian RoseWood, and finished the run of 311. With Black Ebony. Fretboard, headstock veneer, bridge.
So this was one of the last Brazilian model. Very light wear, has chip ( Character ) in headstock. Not noticeable. Great sounding, and looking. Make a great player for someone in a bluegrass band.
