We tested this item with a battery/power supply (Adapter).
Both battery and power supply are acceptable.
All function (Each effect and check lamp) is no problem.
There is nothing wrong with it.
Just for your information.
Foot switch contact was bad when we tested at first.
We pushed the foot switch again and again.
It seems that no problem condition now.
*We pushed 20 times continuously.
