    Description

Rare and unusual beautiful elegant 1960's - 1970's ceramic and brass Kiddush goblet.
The glazed ceramic insert is very unusual -  deep, dark red (almost brown) on the outside with a red and brown organic pattern on the inside similar to mid-century West German ceramics. Brass cup-holder has "Borei Peri Hagafen" (the blessing over wine or grape juice) around the base.
Made in Israel by Hakuli, it combines the typical mid-century modern Israeli brass design with a funky ceramic glaze, yet altogether produces an elegant classic European style.
Weighs just over 9oz, stands 4.5" tall and is just over 3" in diameter at the top. Numbered on base as KL-2117.  Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or any other damage.
