Essential feminine embellishment,
the
tizerzai
are
taken
in pairs
to
close
the
coat.

Many Berbers call themselves some variant of the word imazighen (singular:

), possibly meaning "free people" or "free and noble men”. Today, most Berber-speaking people live in Morocco and Algeria.
