    DESCRIPTION OF ITEM
    ---COOL big and VERY HEAVY electric instrument in wood box from F.F. METZGER out of Phil. Pa.  the box is aprox 30 1/2 x 10 x 9 inches not including the handles on the end.  there is a wind up handle but i am not sure where it goes on this.  there are two thick wires , when i spin the big area the metal piece go back and forth and lots of stuff spins.  it is very well made and early, with a date of 1887. i do not know what this does.  there is some damage to the box, and holes in different places  there is a glass part that covers most of this.  VERY INTERESTING.
