Rare! Antique Emperor Menelik II Silver Coin Medallion Ethiopian Made Pendant

This is a antique Ethiopian silver 1 Birr coin which pictures Emperor Menelik II of Ethiopia on the obverse side and on the reverse side is pictured the crowned Conquering Lion Of Judah which was handmade into a medallion pendant long ago in Africa by Ethiopian metalsmiths. This antique pendant measures 1.91 inches long (including the bail) by 1.55 inches wide. Good To Fair antique condition with some of surface wear to both sides of the coin which affects the pictures this comes from being worn a lifetime. Still worth it's weight in silver! This piece is a hard to find item and a very desirable collectible which would look great used in jewelry applications or would fit right into any African art collection, antique coin collection or African Trade bead collection.
