Rare Occupational Photo Shoemaker / Cobbler with Tools - Tinted 1800s Ambrotype

Description

Quarter-plate ruby ambrotype, late-1850s. Shoemaker or cobbler with his box of tools next to him, working on a red tinted shoe.
In full case that is about 4.75" x 3.75" when closed. Excellent antique condition overall. Some very light spots visible if you view at an angle in light, but under normal viewing it looks great. Last two listing pics taken with cell phone / flash. Case is complete with separated covers.
