Take the red hook side and place the hook around the brake pedal. Now take the black hook side and place the black hook around the bottom of the steering wheel. Insert the ribbed metal end back inside the body of the unit and push together until snug. Your vehicle is now protected. Since the locking mechanism uses a quad style key to protect against lock picking make sure the notch in the key is facing the dot on the lock. This will ensure the key is inserted properly.
