Vintage Chinese Etched Brass GOOD FORTUNE Tray 16" EXC COND Nice Gift

This beautiful vintage tray features the Chinese symbol for good luck or goo fortune etched in the center, surrounded by 4 different animal symbols that represent good fortune: elephants, herons, deer and magpies.
In Chinese culture, Elephants symbolize auspiciousness, herons symbolize strength and patience, deer symbolize longevity and
magpies symbolize happiness, joy and fortune. The tray is solid brass and well made. It measures 16" in diameter and 1 1/2" high. It has a little wire attached to the back for hanging.
It's a vintage piece and the brass has a nice patina.
Condition is excellent with no sign of use and no damage. This would make an excellent housewarming, graduation or wedding gift. Actually, a gift for anyone...who doesn't need good luck?
