This is a Vintage Hand Painted Chinese Porcelain Soup Tureen Qianlong Period Reproduction in Good Condition. There is enamel separation from the porcelain on the lid knob, slight chip on the lid, and paint stains in the bowl (see photos). Great display and functional piece. The reproduction design dates back to the Qianlong period. My Chinese friend says the Stamp is an invitation to a State Dinner for a Diplomat or high-ranking Official from the King around the 1868 time period. The lid’s width 9-5/8 inches and depth 2 inches.
The bowl’s width 11-1/8 inches and depth 3-5/8 inches. The total height of the lid and bowl combined is 5-1/4 inches.
